The piece is composed of both visual and interactive sound elements:
Visual: The bath curtain consists of two clear, plastic sheets. One sheet is painted in red gouache and the other is painted in blue. Water is running between the two sheets, mixing the colors and washing the paint away.
Audio: When a participant enters the bathroom and closes the door, a sensor detects the motion and turns on the audio. On the audio recording, three voices speak in a hushed yet private and intimate manner in Mandarin, Shanghai dialect and English. Each language inflicts it's culture and questions to it's own merit.
